A great book! The experiences the author shared was eye opening.As the book describes, it's all about concepts and the way.You won't find any diagrams or pictures of application, but realizing the big picture to move ahead in any chosen art makes it worth reading.
I enjoyed reading this book very much. It reminds me of my own qigong and Daoist practices. I did wish for more details of his methods he was practicing. For instance, I practice circle walking as well and wished Robert shared more content about his practices. It may have satisfied people totally new to these kinds of practices but it left me a little empty. On the other hand, there is a shortage of modern day books on these topics and Robert's book will certainly add to overcoming this shortage. I do recommend to readers to check out my new book which seems like a good compliment to Ten Methods of the Heavenly Masters. My book is A Daoist Practice Journal: Come Laugh With Me.

A truly amazing achievement!And the unfolding of the 10 Methods of the Heavenly Dragon are beautifully told within the intricacies of Bagua, the "eight symbols" used in Taoist cosmology and the elegant, deadly forms of Chinese martial arts, each method translated into hard-learned lessons of everyday life. The Tao emphasizes getting past your preconceptions and your ego; in effect, getting out of your own way. I for one am very grateful for the lesson.
