I have always lived in Cincinnati, and I love books about the Queen City and its history, especially paranormal history. So I was excited when I spotted the Cincinnati Haunted handbook on the shelf. Now, there are some pretty good Cincinnati ghost books out there, but what makes this one unique is that it doesn't get bogged down with too many details. Each haunted site has a two page spread with just enough information about the history of the site, a photo, then the ghost story is outlined. The directions and tips are indispensable for the amateur ghost hunter. The authors have been to every site in the book, and give good advice on on safety and the best times to see the paranormal activity.Now, any spooky reader in Cincinnati knows the standards: Bobby Mackey's Music World, Music Hall, the Taft Museum. This book goes way beyond the standards, there are sites and stories in this book that I've never heard of, and I've been a spooky Cincinnatian for forty years!I really enjoyed it, and recommend it for anyone living or visiting in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. These authors really know their stuff!

This was bought as a gift and the person loved it.
I thought St. Augustine, Monticello, and Key West were haunted. I was surprised to read about so many haunted places in Cincinnati. Jeff and Michael Morris have done a great job covering the paranormal activity in this wonderful city. I haven't been there in a long time, but I'm headed that way after reading this book.
I returned this book, it was not what I thought it was. I was under the impressionthat it was stories about haunted places in Cincinnati, did not realize it was a handbook.I no longer live in Cincinnati, therefore would not be visiting these places.
