From extremely humble beginnings including a teenage marriage and child before age 18, Marja's authenticity and "street cred" shines through. Easy to read with relevant exercises, personal life experiences, testimonials from well and lesser known successful women, and personal grooming tips. Marja tells you the truth that few others would dare to. Comfortable in her own skin, Marja shares from the conviction that credible women in business enhances business performance. Marja also shares from the desire to see other women succeed and a belief that it's in the giving to others that more blessings are received. She puts her $ where her mouth is and a significant portion of her book sales goes to benefit HAVEN-Oakland County, a non-profit organization with a mission to end domestic violence and sexual abuse. Amazing book, Marja. We appreciate the 4 years it took to birth this gem!

I love the way this book is organized. Very succinct and to the point. The author takes their own experience and references the ideas behind it from other qualified experts on the topic.A great book about finding yourself and being effective in a male-oriented corporate environment and how to empower others to do the same. Gives good advice that can be applied at every level of corporate ladder. Also a great resource for how to manage a hectic schedule and find time to de-stress.Well written and full of good advice.

Marja Norris does an awesome job of crafting a great memoir with tons of little things to learn from every page. It is balanced with personal anecdotes and studies that help back up everything she is saying. The fact that she shared such intimate details about her life makes what she's saying all the more relatable and gives readers a realistic narrative to follow along with. Men would benefit greatly from reading this as well, it's not just for women…really. I know this book is something I'll come back to time and time again.

I have loved this book. I am 75 years old and still learned necessary suggestions applicable to me. I have bought a copy for my grandchildren aged18 through my children in their 50’s.

This book offers great pieces of advice for women in corporate America. It is easy to read and offers insight from a variety of perspectives. The summary at the end of each chapter makes for quick review when you need one and Plan for Action helps with accountability.

I wish I had this book when I was in the workforce. So I definitely sent a copy to my daughter who is in her forties and working full time. Women now have a better chance to promote themselves using the right "tools" and mind-set. This book has such valuable information to lead to success.

This is a must read whether you are a business woman or an everyday woman like me. This book speaks to everyone. I loved reading the book. I just added more copies to my cart for all the female members of my family.
