I wanted to learn about different tool use and techniques as I'm just starting with power carving tools. This was a great help in understand which tools work well for what detailing I wanted to do.
I bought this book as I am just getting started in power carving. It gives beginners all the information they need on bur types and what they are used for, rotary tools types and proper uses as well as basic power carving techniques. There are also step by step carving projects for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Good to read to get started.
Other than some basic facts about carving, this book has no useful techniques or instructions on learning how to carve with power anything. I would never buy this or recommend this to anyone again.
I am just learning and think this will help me very much.
